Jewish museum trip

Join us on a group excursion to the Jewish Museum!

Feb 16th. 2:00pm

There is currently a gorgeous exhibition at the Melbourne Jewish Museum which has been curated by one of our own executive members- Dr Jordy Silverstein.

‘Wild: Stories of a community pushing boundaries’ explores what it was like to create a new Jewish community in Australia, on Aboriginal land; the rich history of Jewish activism; and the ways in which Jews have expressed themselves creatively – through art, music and television – in ways that push boundaries.

Come learn about how Melbourne Jews have taken a stand, made a claim and created change in art, politics and identity.

The exhibition naturally features some goodies from the AJDS archives, including newsletters, and our William Cooper banner.

Come with us to the museum, and hear first hand from AJDS members who donated items to the exhibition talk about their relationship to the exhibits.

We are doing a group booking at $10 per person.  Please book so we know how big the group is.

Ticket options also include adding a donation of 18 to Firesticks. more info here
