I caught up with Gideon Levy after a close to 2 hour talk by him to a packed room at Wits University in Johannesburg. Let there be no doubt about it–his words would be discomforting to both the left and right, but for different reasons. For the left, the enormity of the challenge to bring about justice, and for the right or people who think they can just ignore the problem, he offers disturbing assessments of the Israeli psyche.
